Newsday (N.Y.): Wimbledon: Venus Williams to face Garbine Muguruza in 9th final

WIMBLEDON, England — Time has no chance against Venus Williams. In this 20th Wimbledon of a brilliant and seemingly timeless career, neither have her opponents.

Williams, 37, became the oldest women’s finalist of the All-England Championships in two decades on Thursday when she defeated the home countrywoman, Johanna Konta, 6-4, 6-2, in their semifinal.
